The Glamorgan History Walks & Talks are all hosted by author and TV history expert Graham Loveluck-Edwards. He will be supported by a team of other experts in their field to help bring the stories behind the places you visit to life.
The Glamorgan History Walks is an award-winning festival of history. It is a series of guided walks through the places where Welsh history was made. And the stories of those places is brought to life through historical discussion, storytelling and folk singing. Ideal for all the family (especially as children under 12 go FREE!)
Simply click on the link below and browse through the walks for the Summer of 2026. There are twenty-eight in total, and seven of them are brand new for this year. There are routes in every Unitary Authority Area which make up the historic shire of Glamorgan.
This year they visit 30 castles and mansions, 11 hill forts, 15 ancient tombs and burials, 14 medieval monasteries and priories, 5 World War II relics, 7 Roman remains, 14 pre Roman sites, 8 follies, 11 sites of industrial heritage and 20 medieval churches.
