Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa Achieves Highest AA Merit Score

Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa was recently awarded an AA Merit Score of 78% following an overnight visit by an AA hotel inspector.

This is the highest merit score the hotel has been awarded and is a direct result of the hotel's on going refurbishment programme. The AA Merit score allows guests to compare hotels with the same AA Star rating. The hotel has maintained its 3 Star AA rating.

Here's what the inspector noted:

"It was good to visit Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa for this routine overnight inspection which generally proved to be a positive visit. Hospitality and service was generally relaxed and welcoming with helpful service throughout the visit. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been recently completed in terms of decor and refurbishment and now provide very good levels of quality and comfort - this has impacted well upon the Merit score. Housekeeping displayed sound attention to detail throughout all areas of the hotel. All public areas appeared in generally good order including the dining room, bar and leisure facilities. Both dinner and breakfast offered a good selection of well cooked and presented dishes."
